Our Story

This all began with a pregnancy test and a long conversation about the world.

We’re expecting a little girl — Arya — and like many soon-to-be parents, we’ve found ourselves looking at the future with both love and fear. The world today feels overwhelmed by greed, inequality, and disconnection — a place shaped more by oligarchs than by community. But we believe it doesn’t have to stay that way.

We created Quest Ludica as an act of hope. A rebellion through creativity. A promise to our daughter that we will fight for a better world — not with weapons, but with imagination, ideas, and play.

Giuseppe is a psychologist and writer with a deep love for storytelling and human growth. Annalibera is a political scientist with expertise in economics and community development. Together, we blend our knowledge and passions to craft games that speak to the world’s problems while empowering players to think critically, feel deeply, and act meaningfully.

We believe play is powerful. And we believe it can help shape the kind of world Arya — and all of us — deserve.

What We Do

At Quest Ludica, we create games and stories that challenge the mind and stir the soul.

We design tabletop role-playing games that go beyond “find the monster, kill the monster.” Our games invite players to reflect, to choose, and to face moral questions with no easy answers. They’re designed to entertain — but also to awaken.

Our flagship project is MENTARIS: Stay Human, a sci-fi TTRPG set in the last bio-domes of a ruined Earth, where players struggle to survive under the control of an all-seeing AI regime. Every decision is tracked, every emotion suspect — and staying human is the ultimate act of rebellion.

But MENTARIS is just the beginning.
We’re building a transmedia universe that includes card games, comic books, and animated stories — all connected by a shared vision: thoughtful, independent storytelling that speaks to the world we live in.

Everything we create is artisanal and authentic. We don’t follow market trends or chase viral formulas. We build each project by hand, with care, guided by values — not algorithms. Our work will never be mass-produced or watered down to fit a corporate mold.

We don’t seek millions. We seek meaning. Enough to support our family, enough to keep creating freely — and to offer something real in a world that desperately needs it.
